Quilts

I have made sooo many things over a span of 30 something years. I am sure it has added up in the hundreds. Too bad  I hadn't taken pictures of everything. Here is a sampling of some of my work.

This was the first quilt I ever made. I don't remember who I made it for. It was made in the mid 80's.

This wall hanging is of my niece and her family.

This wall hanging is of my nephew and his wife.

My friend had cross stitched the center squares spelling of her daughters name. I put together the quilt for her.

Embroidered baby quilt. My sewing machine does the embroidery.

My son was in Cub Scouts for a few years. I made this wall hanging for the scout master. The red squares on either side are designed to hold pictures. The hats are appliqued. I designed them myself.

My friend asked me to make a number of these tree top angels for her. The fabric I used was from her mothers wedding dress. I thought that was a great idea! I had to hold my breath until all the cutting was done, because if I made a mistake, it couldn't be replaced. What is the old adage? Measure twice, cut once! I had lost track as to how many of these angels I made over the years. This was always a popular pattern.
